Morocco youngster Bilal El Khannous on the radar of Newcastle United

Morocco international Bilal El Khannous has emerged as a transfer target for Premier League side, Newcastle United.

The 21-year-old midfielder, who is currently on loan at Stuttgart from Leicester City has attracted significant interest, having showcased glimpses of good performances.

Newcastle United plans to augment their midfield in the summer, with Bilal emerging as a priority target for the Premier League outfit.

The Magpies are closely monitoring the enterprising midfielder, but will only consider a move at the end of his loan spell at Stuttgart.

The Moroccan was farmed out on loan after Leicester City suffered relegation to the English Championship. Since joining Stuttgart, the midfielder has racked up five goals and delivered four assists in 17 appearances across competitions.

El Khannous has been in the books of Leicester City since 2024 after switching from Genk for €22.5 million transfer fee. Since his arrival, the midfielder has made 39 appearances for the Foxes, scoring 3 goals and providing 7 assists.
