Marseille consider permanent signing of Algerian midfielder Ismael Bennacer
French Ligue 1 outfit, Olympique Marseille, are reportedly considering signing Algerian midfielder Ismael Bennacer permanently from AC Milan in the summer transfer window.
The club signed the midfielder in the January transfer window on loan for the second half of the 2024/25 football season.
After impressing manager Roberto de Zerbi, Olympique Marseille now want to secure the services of Ismaël Bennacer for the longterm.
Marseille, who already paid 1 million euros in January for the loan deal, will be able to purchase the 27-year-old for a further 12 million euros in the summer.
This season at Marseille, Ismaël Bennacer has made eight appearances and has provided one assist.
Although he has not scored, his performances for the team have been impressive.
Information gathered indicates that AC Milan are ready to part ways with Ismaël Bennacer. The club will listen to offers from interested clubs and Olympique Marseille as well.
