JS Kabylie protests refereeing decisions after loss in Constantine
The management of JS Kabylie has publicly protested what it describes as scandalous refereeing during their recent 1-0 defeat in Constantine.
In an official statement titled “Denouncing Unfair Refereeing,” JSK claimed to be the victim of “clearly unfavorable” refereeing decisions that impacted the course and outcome of the match.
The club specifically cited two unawarded penalties: one for a foul on Mahious in the first half and another for a handball by an opposing player in the dying minutes of the game. JSK called on the competent refereeing commission to launch a transparent investigation into the match, stressing, “JSK asks for no favors, only justice and fairness. Algerian football deserves matches officiated with integrity and skill. We cannot accept treatment that amounts to an orchestrated campaign against our club.”
JSK’s statement reflects mounting frustration, as the club insists that fair play must prevail and is determined to defend its interests and the principles of competition. The incident has stirred debate in Algerian football about refereeing standards and club rights.
