Italian-Ivorian forward Moise Kean returns to Fiorentina squad ahead of Como clash
Italian forward of Ivorian descent, Moise Kean, will return to the Fiorentina squad this weekend for the Serie A clash against Como.
Following a recent home defeat to reigning champions Napoli, Fiorentina resumed training in preparation for Matchday 4 of the league campaign.
Encouraging news has emerged from the club’s medical department, with Kean now fully recovered from the flu that had sidelined him in recent days.
According to reports from Sky Sport, the 24-year-old striker has rejoined full training and is expected to be available for selection. Kean, regarded as a key figure in Fiorentina’s attack, is likely to feature in the matchday squad.
In addition, Icelandic forward Albert Gudmundsson has also returned to full fitness. After overcoming minor issues sustained during international duty, Gudmundsson rejoined the group earlier in the week and is expected to start against Como, barring any late setbacks.
With Moise Kean back in the squad, Fiorentina will be aiming to bounce back with a strong performance at home, in hopes of amassing all three points from the Como match.
