Gohi Bi Cyriac: The Ivorian leaves Ostend for the Turkish first division

Gohi Bi Cyriac Joins Sivasspor After Leaving Ostend

Ivorian striker Gohi Bi Cyriac will experience Turkish football this season after leaving Belgian side Ostend. The forward has officially signed a three-year contract with newly promoted Turkish first division club Sivasspor.

“Ostend thanks Zorro for all the efforts made which enabled KVO to establish themselves in Division 1 and wishes him good luck for the rest of his career,” the Belgian club said in a statement.

Cyriac’s last appearance for Ostend came last Sunday against Waasland-Beveren, where he started for the first time this season and was substituted in the 68th minute in a 0-3 defeat. Shortly afterward, he flew to Turkey, where Sivasspor fans welcomed him enthusiastically on social media. “In recent days, Cyriac went to Turkey to undergo medical tests. Both the player and the club quickly reached an agreement on the transfer,” Ostend confirmed.

Career Overview
Gohi Bi Cyriac began his Belgian career in 2009 with Standard Liège before moving to Anderlecht in 2012. He joined Oostende in July 2015, making 60 appearances and scoring 21 goals, including 14 in his debut season. He also spent six months on loan at Fulham in early 2017.

With this move, Cyriac embarks on a new chapter in the Turkish Süper Lig with Sivasspor.
