Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo hails Bournemouth’s brilliant start to season

Ghana international Antoine Semenyo has shared his excitement following AFC Bournemouth’s impressive start to the 2025/26 Premier League campaign.

The Cherries has been outstanding since the commencement of the league season, winning three games, drawing one and losing one after five matches. With 10 points, Bournemouth find themselves in the 4^th position on the standings.

However, the in-form Ghana international has expressed delight about his outfits’ flying start to the campaign, while promising to maintain their momentum.

“On the whole it’s been a good start to the season, definitely. We want to be humble and not get too big headed, we take it easy game by game. But we’re pleased with our start and the players are giving everything to keep it going and to continue it.” He told the club’s website.

Semenyo has been in a scintillating form for Bournemouth this season, scoring three goals and delivering two assists in five appearances in the Premier League.

His impressive start to the 2025/26 league season earned him the Player of the Month award for August at Bournemouth.
