FOOTBALL RD CONGO: FIFA THREATENS!

FIFA has issued a formal notice to the Minister of Sports in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, requesting the withdrawal of a circular issued on November 28. The circular demanded that national championship matches be exclusively held in state-owned stadiums. FIFA’s intervention is in response to concerns raised by several clubs, including TP Mazembe, which has its own sports infrastructure. Failure to comply with FIFA’s request could lead to sanctions.
