In a celebration marked by royal pride and national joy, Crown Prince Moulay Hassan welcomed Morocco’s U-20 football team to the Royal Palace in Rabat, acting on the special instructions of King Mohammed VI.

The young “Atlas Cubs,” fresh off their first-ever FIFA U20 World Cup triumph in Chile, were greeted not only by the prince but also by the head of Morocco’s football association, Faouzi Lekjaa, coach Mohamed Ouahbi, and the squad’s energetic players.

The event began with official greetings, followed by commemorative photos with the prince and a festive tea party in their honor. The atmosphere showcased the king’s ongoing support for youth and sports, underscoring his personal interest in developing Moroccan football talent, especially through the renowned Mohammed VI Football Academy.

Morocco’s victory over Argentina in the final was praised as a milestone for the country. This success, fully aligned with the king’s forward-thinking vision, highlights the value of effort, discipline, and hard work.

In a congratulatory message, King Mohammed VI hailed the team for bringing honor to Morocco and Africa and encouraged them to reach even greater heights in the future.
