English Premier League side Chelsea have announced the signing of Dutch-born striker of Nigerian descent, Emanuel Emegha.

The Blues confirmed the acquisition of the forward on Friday, September 12, in an official statement on their website.

In the statement, Chelsea indicated that although the prolific striker has been signed from RC Strasbourg, he will officially join in 2026.

“Chelsea Football Club has agreed a deal to sign striker Emmanuel Emegha from Ligue 1 side RC Strasbourg, with the Dutchman officially joining in 2026,” Chelsea announced.

Emegha, 22, scored 14 goals and provided three assists in 27 appearances in Ligue 1 last season, earning him recognition as one of the most exciting young forwards in Europe.

He has been tipped to develop into a lethal forward in the coming years, with Chelsea seeing his signing as an investment for the future.
