Aston Villa reach agreement to sign Ivory Coast attacker Evann Guessand from OGC Nice

Ivory Coast international Evann Guessand is on the verge of joining Premier League club Aston Villa in the ongoing summer transfer window.

Following an agreement between Aston Villa and OGC Nice, the 24-year-old attacker is expected to seal a move to the Premier League club in the coming days.

Aston Villa, who delivered a solid performance last season are executing an aggressive effort to bolster their squad in an attempt to make a meaningful impact in the 2025/26 football campaign.

The French outfit has agreed an offer of €30 million plus an additional €5 million in bonuses for the transfer of the talented Ivory Coast attacker.

Guessand is expected to travel to England in the coming days for his medical before putting pen to paper for the club.

Meanwhile, Guessand, who is currently carrying an injury has been ruled out of Nice clash against Benfica in the UEFA Champions League qualifier.

OGC Nice will play host to the Portuguese giants in the first leg clash scheduled for Wednesday in France.
