Al Ahly sets development path for rising star Ahmed Khaled Kabaka
Al Ahly SC is shaping the future of one of its brightest young talents, sending midfielder Ahmed Khaled Kabaka on loan to Zed SC for the upcoming season.
According to Kooora, the deal was finalized on Thursday afternoon, giving the promising youth team captain a fresh opportunity to gain top-flight experience.
While a permanent offer from a Portuguese side was on the table, Al Ahly opted to keep hold of Kabaka, believing in his long-term potential. The club chose Zed as the right destination for his growth, where he is expected to feature regularly in the starting lineup.
At just 20 years old, Kabaka has already shown strong leadership qualities, captaining Egypt’s youth team and proving himself in back-to-back loan stints with Modern Sport. His return to the club earlier this season highlighted the club’s interest in monitoring his progress closely.
Now, with this new challenge at Zed, Kabaka is set for another step forward, one that both Al Ahly and the player hope will pave the way for a bigger role in the club’s future plans.
