AC Milan commence contract extension talks with English-Nigerian defender Fikayo Tomori
Italian giants AC Milan have commenced contract extension talks with English defender of Nigerian descent Fikayo Tomori.
Discussions over a new deal come amid growing transfer interest from several clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur, who were keen on signing the centre-back during the January 2025 transfer window.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri and his technical staff are highly impressed with Tomori’s performances and professionalism. As a result, extending the 26-year-old’s contract, which currently runs until June 2027, has become a key priority for the club.
Tomori is presently earning around €3.5 million per season at AC Milan. However, it remains uncertain whether the club will retain his current salary level or look to adjust it slightly in the new deal.
Tomori is happy in Milan and is reportedly open to extending his deal with the Italian football giants.
