Juventus and Inter Milan interested in Algerian defender Rafik Belghali
Rafik Belghali’s rise in Serie A has quickly put him on the radar of two of Italy’s biggest clubs, Juventus and Inter Milan.
The 23-year-old right-back joined Hellas Verona on 19 August and has wasted no time establishing himself as one of the standout players in his position in Italy, earning an Algeria call-up along the way.
Belghali has already made 15 appearances this season, showing consistency, reliability and clear room for further development, which makes him an attractive, relatively low-cost option for top clubs. Italian reports, including Nico Schira, Alfredo Pedullà and Corriere dello Sport, all indicate that Juve and Inter are closely monitoring his situation.
Less than six months after arriving in Serie A, Belghali is reportedly valued at around 15 million euros. A move to either Juventus, currently fifth in the league and rebuilding after parting ways with Igor Tudor, or Inter, leaders in Serie A and recent Champions League finalists, would represent a huge step up for a player who was still at KV Mechelen just five months ago.
