Paradou AC back to winning ways
At home, Paradou AC delivered a much-improved performance to claim a 2-0 win over USM Khenchela.
The hosts struck early when Mustapha Soukkou opened the scoring in the 11th minute, capitalising on their dominant start.
Their high pressing and defensive organisation kept Khenchela on the back foot throughout the first half.
Just before the break, Mohamed Abdelkader doubled the advantage in the 42nd minute, giving Paradou a comfortable cushion heading into halftime.
In the second period, the pace slowed, but the home side maintained control and managed the game effectively.
Despite some late pressure from the visitors, Paradou held firm to secure the three points.
The win lifts Paradou AC to 15th place with seven points, ending a difficult spell of results, while USM Khenchela stay 11th on eleven points.
JS Kabylie dominate in Tizi Ouzou
JS Kabylie produced one of their best performances of the season, overpowering MC El Bayadh 4-1 at home.
The hosts set the tone early with Babacar Sarr finding the net in the 30th minute after a slick passing move.
Despite MC El Bayadh’s efforts to respond, Kabylie’s defence stood firm, preserving their lead until halftime.
After the restart, JS Kabylie kept up their intensity.
Mehdi Merghem added a second goal in the 49th minute, before Kamel Belmiloud briefly gave the visitors hope with a 63rd-minute strike.
However, Kabylie quickly restored control, with Aimen Mahious making it 3-1 in the 76th minute and Oualid Malki sealing the victory seven minutes from time.
The convincing win propels JS Kabylie to fifth place with 15 points, while MC El Bayadh’s struggles continue as they remain rooted to the bottom of the table with just three points.
MC Alger maintain dominance at the top
