AFCON U23: Updated Match Schedules

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced adjustments to the schedule for the U23 AFCON group stage. Matchday 3 fixtures will now start later than initially planned, with kickoff times moved from 3 p.m. GMT to 5 p.m. GMT.

The revised schedule affects both Group A and Group B matches. In Group A, Senegal will face Zambia, while Tunisia takes on South Africa. In Group B, Mali meets Egypt, and Nigeria plays Algeria.

In addition, the third-place playoff, originally scheduled for December 11, will now kick off at 4 p.m. GMT.

Meanwhile, the second day of group matches continues without change. Group B will see Nigeria face Egypt at 6 p.m. GMT, while Mali takes on Algeria at 3 p.m. GMT.

The U23 AFCON tournament is set to conclude on December 12, and the schedule adjustment ensures better timing and organization for the remaining fixtures.
