Ahmed Mostafa Zizo is fully locked in on starting strong with Al Ahly, placing that goal above the thrill of facing football legend Lionel Messi.

As the Cairo giants continue their pre-season camp in Tabarka, Tunisia, Zizo praised the setting, saying the calm environment helps the squad handle the intense sessions. The 29-year-old winger believes the preparations are key to a successful season.

“The chance to play my first game with Al Ahly is more important than playing against Messi,” he admitted.

Zizo applauded the team’s effort in a recent friendly against Stade Tunisien, highlighting how the balanced playtime is building trust in the coach’s system. He also voiced strong support for Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet calling him a major boost for the squad.
