Djurgardens IF confirm transfer of teenager Warren Ngana to RB Leipzig

Swedish club, Djurgardens IF have announced the transfer of talented teenager Warren Ngana to German Bundesliga outfit, RB Leipzig.

The Swedish-prospect of African descent is making the big step in his career in hopes of reaching his full potential.

“Djurgården’s young center-back talent is going on the export market and has now signed for the Bundesliga club. Interest in Djurgården’s 09-born center back Warren Ngana has bubbled up in the football world after his fine performances in the academy and in the Swedish P15/16 national team.

“Several big clubs have been in the picture and in the end it became a tight situation for Warren, where the choice fell on the German top team RB Leipzig. Thus, the young DIF talent moves on for continued development and play in the Bundesliga club,” Djurgardens IF announced on Thursday, March 27.

Before the move to RB Leipzig, Warren Ngana was a transfer target of German giants Bayern Munich.

At Leipzig, 16-year-old Ngana will have the opportunity to continue his development in an environment that provides the platform for young talents to hone their skills.
